Mysteries of "The Bird"

if this hasn't been answered yet, the switch on the bottom of that
rear compartment most likely controls the 110v outlet for your
television. In my '83 the outlet is on the passenger side up in front
of the bedroom window.
Not sure what the 110v romex if for at the back of the fridge, unless
someone had hook up a 110v fan at one time ??
