Investigation continues into last week’s deaths of a Hudson-area couple who were found shot to death in their Adams County home. Harold Enander, 69, and his wife, Elva Sue Enander, 61, were found in their home Thursday morning by a friend who went to the house to check on them. The friend, Lynda Higgins, is the wife of the First Baptist Church minister in Hudson, where the Enanders were active members. When they didn’t attend a regular evening service Wednesday, Higgins went to the house to check on them. The couple had been married about four years and met through the church, where they both volunteered. Spokeswoman Sgt. Candi Baker of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the homicides, said there is no new information on the case. Harold “Hap” Enander was the owner of Aqua-Hot Heating Systems Inc. of Fort Lupton. The company produces heating systems used specifically for showers in RVs. He started with a few employees and the company has expanded to more than 60, according to the Fort Lupton News. Hap Enander retired two years ago, but his children are still involved in the business.
