Rough Night in Texas and Oklahoma!! Everyone OK?
Glad to hear that you survived the storm; all well here except for one tree which fell on top of sprinkler tank. Tree removal tomorrow. Just got infromSPI .

We were on the edge of what went through Lone Grove and killed 8 people. Charolette and I live about 60 miles west of that area. We started out with winds that turned to tree twisters then the light rain followed by pea size hail then marble size hail. Glad we have a steel car port for the van. Hail fell so long that the yards turned white and in many places floating on the rain water. It looked like a wave of white across the place. Did not lose power nor any shingles on the roof but the covers over the doors and windows are beat all up. All on top of Ruff Diamond is ok.

All is well at our place and I am doing prevent maint on electric heaters today. Have installed a new heater then did a complete tear down on the bath heater and cleaned lubed checked bearings. Cleaned the fan and re set the thermostat on and off point then tested the heat sense bulb with heat to be sure the unit is functional.

The twin bed mod is completed and looks
great!

Safe travels,

Howdy.
We had a rough, windy night down here is southcentral Texas. Lots of wind, some gusts up to 50 mph!! Around 10 PM, Jack put up the larger window awnings. At 2:20 AM, Jack went outside and put the rest of the awnings up. The gusts were hitting the Bird pretty good. I was getting nervous but Jack reminded me that our Bird had come through a Class 3 hurricane in Florida OK. Then this park lost electricity for a while. The atmosphere was surreal because all lights went out and yet we had a full moon!! Jack turned on the inverter and then the coffeepot. We went back to bed as the wind calmed down a little bit. Got up this AM at 8 to a beautiful sunny day, but still somewhat windy.
How about y'all? Everyone OK?

Concerned,
Liz
