Front step
Jerry, back in December, I noticed that my step did the same. Upon closer inspection, I found that the steel by the rear support had cracked. We took that off and had a local welding shop work on it. It is like it should be.

So, I'm narrowing down the issues with my recent purchase (which I am
still quite happy I made despite the little problems). My front step
does work (most of the time) but that's not the issue. The step droops
to starboard quite a bit. Plus, it kind of droops forward as well.
While the step still works, it would be nicer if it were squared up.
Is there an easy fix or does the step need to be replaced?

As always, thanks in advance for the help.
