Maiden Voyage
As I reported on the other forum, we made it here safe and sound to
Houston yesterday from Randy's former Freenezi. Randy was very patient
in answering my three pages of questions before we took off late
Thursday. Wow, that was fun! Headwinds, and cold. I thought Florida
was supposed to be warm. Still learning how to turn on all the heating
systems and zones (darn it, the tape recorder missed Randy's
instructions on the Primus). The most eventful part was after getting
to Houston we went straight to Hobby Airport to pick up my F-150 toad.
Holy moly, I thought the coach was long enough already, but with the
toad it felt like I was longer than a double-trailered UPS truck! The
engine just purred like a kitten. Paid $2.07/gal in western LA, but
could have saved 9 cents had I waited and filled in TX.

Thanks again guys for the forums, thus giving me the confidence to get
one of these wonderful machines. Get ready, the questions are coming!
