hydraulic fan oil and filter
Not shure but I think the light signals that the filter is clogged
enough to cause a filter bypass path to be used??? I think high
filter pressure opens a valve (and glows a light). the open valve
lets oil bypass the compramised filter to continue a path of which is
now unfiltered hydrolic oil???? many oil filters have a bypass
spring in the bottom to prevent pump damage. if the pump doesnt pass
fluid it burns up cause it spinns constant with or without fan or
steering use.
