3208T Engine Cooling Fan

Question regarding theengine fan on 3208 T.

Has anyoneconsidered going electric on these fans?

What would the positives or negatives be?

I was asked this by my mechanic, but I do not think it is the right way to go. The Horton fan does a wonderful job and (knock on wood) I have not had any problemswith it.
