Ultraguard Mud flap
Personally, I believe you need to check the air boxes, check valves and drains. The lack of a mud flap is not the cause of the oil spray. If I understand the check valves correctly, they close at either 950 or 1400 RPM depending on the part number of the check valve installed preventing residue from exiting the tubes until idle. If I am correct and I believe I am, oil cannot exit the slobber tubes while driving down the road if the system is working properly. You can test the check valve operation by disconnecting the tube aft of the check valve and see if air is exiting the check valve at idle. If not, the air box or the check valve has a problem. If air exits the check valve above 950 or 1400 RPM depending on the PN installed, the check valve is bad and should be replaced. If no air exits the check valve at specified PN RPM the check valve is good and
can be reused.

Don,

Well, I was hoping the extra long flap would curtail some of the oil - that's to bad. Thanks for letting me know.. I might still get one because it probably will cut down on the rocks - couldn't hurt anyways. And, maybe it will keep some of the oil off the toad and coach.

As I mentioned before, the oil from the Detroit seems to end up on the back of the coach and/or toad and I would like to cut that down.
