FC Air System- info needed

The diaphragm that shuts off the vacuum generator once adequate vacuum is acheived is not visible. It is inside the vacuum generator itself and finding it is likely to damage the vacuum generator irreparably. I took mine off and disassembled it because it was constantly leaking air. In retrospect it was most likely leaking air because it was operating all the time due to a vacuum leak somewhere in the cruise control system. I didn't understand how it worked when I began taking it apart. Rostra makes the electric cruise control I used. I think Chuck Wheeler also used one if my memory serves me correctly.
