gfci still tripping

Chuck I had a hot/neutral on the 50 amp side screwed up a good 4 day trip fixing it. My fix wast completely remove that stupid thing. I know the put it there because somebody at some time drove away with the campground electrical in close tow. It just like a caution or warning in a set of instructions because someone did the thing that they warn you about regardless of how fullish it sounds.
