Hi Al,

Cherry Hill is real nice. The Metro transportation system stops in the park. Metro bus to the subway system is a couple miles. Then to any D.C. or Northern Virginia stop quickly. It's two and a half hours to Ocean City, Maryland from Cherry Hill, non rush hour.

There is aNationalPark Service facility, Assateague Island Park, on the shore,just south of Ocean City. This time of year it's real quite. Home of the wild horses/ponies.NO hook ups. You have Ocean side, and Bay side, camping. You may not like Frontier Town. It is real small, real old. I heard that it was sold. Do not know any further details.

My DC camp will more than likely be the Cherry Hill Camp or the KOA in Millersville, MD (any commnets on these two if you know them) but still looking for the ocean city area. I have found one called Frontier Town but not sure of this place. We do not like to be in Campgrounds that arethat are filled with 50 year old trailers that have half rotted in thier place this is not our cup of tea. In fact the resort type places are more our speed.

We have only been burned once with KOA but there are none of these on the shore, any input I thank you in advance!
