GPS
Valid point, but not all of us keep our registration in our glove box, nor is it registered to our home address (in my case at least).
But do not think that I am paranoid, if you were to Google my name, you would find out where I live and where I work, as well as current and past phone #s, relatives names, likely friends, etc. Plus pictures of me, my motorcycles, etc.

All of you might be interested to Google your name if you have not done so already.

Wouldn't they know that from the registration in the glov-box anyway?

As a LEO for over 25 years I never saw a car thief that showed up at the victim's house, possible but not probable.
