It is not overly steep, but you should plan about an hour + for the trip. I live about 30 minutes from racoon park and they have a short but VERY steep entrance. The campground is nice enough but most sites are for smaller rigs. I remember some are dry camping and about half are electric. Can't recall water. If I was you, I stick with Wash. I-79/70 KOA.
