Windshield Leaks
Last year on our first trip with our PT40 I had a few small leaks from the
windshield. They are at the top of the window, both pilot and copilot sides. It looks like there is some goop on the outside that someone tried to fix them before, but it didnt work. I had a window shop come out to look at it hoping they could remove the molding and reinstall it with some sealer but they declined to work on it. Where afraid to remove the molding and/or window and end up breaking them. So, I still have a leak that I need to fix before the next trip. Any hints on how to fix it? I had figured to pull the zipper strip, flex up the molding and put some sealer in, then reinstall the zip strip... That a good idea? Thanks, Joe '87PT40 San Francisco |
