Mirror set screws
If you end up having to drill the set screws out of the housing, be careful.
The set screws (on my rig) don't go all the way to the ball at the bottom of the
mirror. The set screws go to a split bushing that the ball at the bottom of the
mirror rides in. The set screw compresses the split bushing which, in turn,
secures the ball at the bottom of the mirror.

After bending a long handle allen wrench, I chose to drill out the set screw and
install a stainless steel "Helicoil" in the aluminum housing. The stainless
Helicoil with a stainless set screw should be a happier arrangement than the SS
set screw in the aluminum housing. Note: If you chose to put a Helicoil in the
blind hole you will have to grind down the Helicoil tap to permit the Helicoil
to be set in the blind hole.
