Mirror set screws

To clarify - I had to drill and re-tap some of the #8 screws holding the mirror
frame and retainer ring to the mirror body and swing arm. Once the mirror was
apart, the hex-head set screws came out easily with liberal heat, oil, patience,
and an allen wrench.

The set screws (on my rig) don't go all the way to the ball at the bottom of the
mirror. The set screws go to a split bushing that the ball at the bottom of the
mirror rides in. The set screw compresses the split bushing which, in turn,
secures the ball at the bottom of the mirror.

smaller than the screw the heat generated by drilling will usually break the
screw free much like using a torch without the collateral damage. Get a left
hand drill bit and when it breaks free the drill will back it right out.
