That has been my experience. Allow a few seconds.ÃÂ Have had this occur a couple time.

I've learned it's never a good thing to rush the starting sequence. I've never had your particular problem, but I have had some warning lights stick on, etc. Shutting down, count to ten, turn the key on, wait a full 30 -40 seconds, (when one of the buzzers usually stops), then starting seems to avoid spurious errors...

Ralph,
You know, I may have not let the sequence of events occur when I placed the key in run. The second time I tried it I watched the do not shift light sequence do its thing. I did not the first time. The next time I move it I will see if I can force it to happen. But I don't know if that is a good idea. The jack level warning was ok.

Did you turn the key to the run position and let the trans checksumÃÂ
complete and light go out before starting? Also the HWH jacks computerÃÂ
board may have hung on you and not reported the green travel light. So whenÃÂ
you switched the engine off, it allowed every thing to re set. Pure guessÃÂ
work, of course, but possible.
