Seized Electric Clutch Fan on my 3208
I think that was Mike Hohenstein who did that research.

Andy - Someone on this list did some home-brew engineering on this question a while back. As I remember, it would be challenging to get enough electric fan cooling into the available space.

Electric fans don't save any HP anyway because the alternator also draws engine HP. There's no free lunch.

I know lots of people have converted to the Horton fan but I'm wondering what fans were available for 3208's in other applications. Ford trucks had the engine. Did they use electric or air fans? Or, did they have a viscous clutch?
