Valve stem extenders??
I jumped on the Crossfire option to make monitoring and filling of
rear tires easy.... Blowouts and leaks.......... Crossfire employs a safety feature that automatically isolates the "good" tire in the event of a blowout. When a blowout occurs, the internal safety valve closes immediately with only a slight loss of pressure to the "good" tire. In slow leak situations, the valve isolates both tires after a pressure drop of approximately 10 P.S.I. See below website for more info and the best price I have seen. I paid $68 each including install. http://www.wholesale4all.com/crossfire.htm Dave Beatty 83 FC35SB (BirdCage) Federal Way, Wa --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, bobloomas wrote: ----- Original Message ----- From: "Curt Sprenger" To: Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 9:10 PM Subject: Re: [WanderlodgeForum] Valve stem extenders?? That is the same kind I use made by Good Year Bob Loomas 85 PT 36 Steve, I've used the extender and rubber inserts for several years...always there and no problems at all. I have done some research and have found several options to extend the valve stem so it can be reached by a regular inflator. What is the risk of leaving the extender on permanently vs. just using the extender to inflate the tire? Also if I leave the extender on, does anyone have experience with the rubber inserts that hold extenders in the round hole in the wheel? Steve Meach 84FC35 Paw Paw, MI |
