Tried that and it won't work without a lot of work......the pan extends to
far and you can't get or make a thinner one due
to the constraints on the engine. I did have a nice VW bus with a 2.4
liter Porsch turbo in it.
It really handled the hills well.....it got a little squirrely over
90. Best conversion is the VW Jetta
engine. You rotate the engine one bolt hole over on it's side and
everything matches up....lots
of horsepower with not much money....

One nice thing about VW vans; for some reason the cops never look at you
very much....
