Hi Dan, There are 2 switch doors and 3 switch doors.
2 Switch door; top switch is for the electrical door lock and on some models the burglar alarm as well. The second switch is the step. 3 switch doors; Top switch elect lock, middle switch alarm, bottom switch is for the step. when the switches are behind a hinge cover, the burg alarm switch is a different configuration, not a button. There is a change over relay in the manual switch over compartment that ties into the step. (Older FC's.
