Marge,
This is one area where you don't have to agonize over an exact replacement. You have more important matters to attend to now. Virtually any Group 31 (or 29) 12 volt with comparable Cold Cranking Amp rating will work. Just take the old battery in to Sam's or WalMart and tell them you need one to replace it. I think they used to carry the Champion brand of battery. Of course the clerk will ask what year/model car it goes in, and when they ask, just tell them it runs a diesel generator and you just need one of comparable size and rating. Any of the mechanics can set you up with a comparable size battery if the clerk can't figure out how to look it up on the computer without a year/model.
