reverse polarity/general maintenance
The problem here is testing by plugging it in constantly puts continual damage
at risk. a circuit breaker wont trip untill it heats up while making something
cook. since the genset runs the system with out issue, the problem must be at
transfer or in the shorecord line to the transfer switch???? I also think the
repair is simple if you start from basics and learn the dynamics.

the transfer switch is a device that automatically gateways
powercompany/shorecord electric and genset driven electric. two inputs to the
transfer switch but one output out to the bus grey houselike circuit box.

run the gen set on the bus. "carefully" test for voltage on your shore cord
plug-in prongs. if voltage is there you have issue with the transfer switch.
shut off the genset and insulate the shorecord prongs while stowed. Replace the
transfer switch.

second test:
It would work best to have someone dis connect the shorecord input to the
transfer switch / at the transfer switch (while unpluggged, no inverter or
genset on/lm). At this point the shore cord is like an extension cord,
un-attached. at either end you can test the un attached/shorecord 4 wires for
continuity to each combination. if there is any continuity (continuous path )
there is a short in the shore cord. you may want to unroll the cord prior to a
test to duplicate the state when the problem exists.

if continuity in this shore cord unattached, next test;
find any place along that path of wires from end to end where there is a
terminal, connection or repair. (stow bay, plug end) separate the wires at that
junction then retest both sides of the cord path for continuity untill you find
the section that has the continuous path problem. it could be at the plug.

note that even attached to the transfer switch the common prong and the ground
prong should not be continuous; should not show continuity.

I am sure your request for info to this most probable existing condition was
responded to with a refax of at-sale disclosure statement.

I purchased a new adapter but from that point on it throws the breaker. That
leads the electrician that it probably shorted something inside the coach.

in the alternating current. E verything works with the generator but the
electrical line keeps throwing the breaker at the house. He tried following the
line into the coach but was unsuccessful. I'd like to find a knowledgeable BB
guy in the Kennesaw, GA area or as far south as Atlanta. Thanks. Randy Akers

I try to plug it in to an outlet it throws a breaker at my house. The problem
is not at my house. Also, I'd like to find someone that knows Bluebirds to do
maintenance on mine. Thanks. Randy Akers
