12v power for portable macerator pump

When I put my DRAINMASTERS on (12volt dump valves), I just connected into the
12volt overhead light wires....HOWEVER...your mixmaster may require more
operating current..........BOB LUMAS memmer of this Forum has one and he knows
the answer..
