Camping on the beach in the Daytona Beach Area
If you want to to literally "camp on the beach" in the Daytona Beach Area, then is is the place for you. Power, water and a dump station. Outstanding restaurant right next door with an outside deck. Both the Flagler county beachs AND the restaurant are dog friendly! If you bike, you can bike or drive about 4 miles north to SR100, Flagler Beach, where they have an outstanding farmer's market on Friday's and Saturday's mornings until noon. Tons of restaurants and drinking establishments to choose from.
Park: http://www.floridastateparks.org/gamblerogers/ Reservations: http://www.reserveamerica.com/r/campgrou...kCode=gamb PS when they talk about pets not allowed on the state park beach, they mean THEIR state park beachfront area about 1000 feet of it. Dogs ARE allowed on the beach on either side of their beachfront which is Flagler county and the restaurant is on Flagler county property. Both sides of the flager county beachfront are easily accessible from the campground section, enjoy!
