Ernie I have a carpet question
Kurt, go to hardware store and get a quart of contact cement. With a paint brush coatthe back of the carpet and its opposing areaand let them dry to the touch. In fact, you can do that in the afternoon and come back in am and press the carpet where it originally came from.

Ernie,

I can't keep the carpet on the steering column and the area around it,especially the a/c registers on each side of the steering column. What do you recommend to keep the carpet from falling down. I've tried Velcro, and double faced carpet tape, it only held for a few days, the Velcro lasted about a year. Any help is appreciated.
