Low Bridges
A Truck Route is often not due to weight or height restrictions. It is more
common that it is an ordinance to keep commercial traffic from residential areas. I get stopped often by city commercial inspectors because I work in residential areas with my 18 wheel setup (truck and equipment trailer). In many cities I am required to file a route plan prior to going off the posted route. I've filed a plan with three cities once to complete a one day job that required crossing all 3 areas 24 times There is a better chance that there will be enough clearance in a truck route but that too is not always the case.
