All of the suggestions could be true, and definitely I would look for loose connections, hot and ground.
BUT since you say that you have a pulsing voltage, this would lead me to alternator itself, like a bad diode.
If you have an electric motor rebuild shop close by, I would get them to check it out, you might be able to drive it to them and get to check it out while still on the coach.
