Rick, when you go this year, ask about the "no pets" policy on festival grounds. Looks like they can stay with the RV but it does not describe how restricted it is for walking and exercising pets.
"Are pets allowed at Balloon Fiesta Park?

No, except handicap assisting pets."

Also, check the distance between Standard RV parking and the balloon area. Thanks.

I have been perusing their site for information. The dates for 2010 are October 2 - 9.

RV can reserve with a 50% deposit for 10 coaches or more. The reservation is cancellable for a $10 fee weel into 2010. The balance will be due late August.

CANCELLATION CHARGES: Standard, Premium or VIP: $10.00 to July 14; then 50% July 15 through August 31. PRESIDENT'S COMPOUND: $12.50 to July 14; then 50% July 15 through August 31.
ALL SITE TYPES: No Refunds after August 31, 2009

STANDARD RV PARKING - No hook-ups. $30.00 per night. Three (3) nights minimum reservation. $5.00 per night discount only on Standard RV Parking if you reserve and pay for nine (9) or more nights (per RV) in advance.

PREMIUM RV PARKING – Electric & low-pressure water hook-ups. Electric Hot Water Heater Usage Not Allowed. No sewer/dump station available. $65.00 per night. Three (3) nights minimum reservation required.

VIP RV PARKING – Immediately adjacent to Fiesta Park. Dry camp - No hook-ups. $85.00 per night. Price includes field entry for 2 adults. Three (3) nights minimum reservation required. Placement within the VIP areas will be at the discretion of the Balloon Fiesta.

PRESIDENT'S COMPOUND RV PARKING –East side of Balloon Fiesta Park. 30A electric & water hook-up. $150.00 per night. Price includes field entry for 4 adults. 3 nights min. required. Very limited number of spaces; list 2nd choice.

A lot of pricey upgrades are available as far as VIP tents, special seating for events, etc.
