Shop air compressor wont put out more than 110 PSI
In my experience you do not get the 'rated' PSI at the end of the hose from any compressor. They all are slightly below the rated max PSI. You'll need to get one rated at 150 PSI to get the 120 in your tire.
You could change out your pressure switch to a higher PSI (e.g., 150),if the tank was approved to that pressure. The max PSI for the tank should be stamped on the bottom. The tank ratings (max pressure) will be higher than the operating setup for safety purposes.

You might check the pressure switch and regulator and see if you can set the pressure back higher.
