brake controller & "fog" lights....
steve, i have the old BB donut wagon, when the trailer brakes were hooked up on
it by BB they put the controller in the trailer, and just used the trailer light
wires to activate it,they must of had an extra battery in the trailer also.i've
never seen this done before, putting the controller in the trailer.just another
way to look at it! randydupree93wb

Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] brake controller & "fog" lights....

Hi All

I'm about to install a Prodigy electric brake controller on my '79
FC 33 for my car trailer, and was wondering if anyone could
recommend the "simplest" way. It looks like I should be able to
pick up the 12v. feed from one of the circuit breakers in front of
the steering column, and possibly the ground in that same area. Any
recommendations for circuit breaker choice? Is the brake light
switch right there under the floor somewhere?

What is the best way of routing the feed back to the "Bargman type"
connector in the rear? ....under the chassis or is there a another
place to run wires to the back? My plans are to make it a 12 gauge
stranded wire. An earlier look under the bed at the rear showed me
where the existing wires came in to the plug, but I don't remember
if they came through the floor, or from behind the water heater.
I'm assuming that the connecter is the standard pin configuration,
w/just the brake wire unused (circuit schem. shows 5 pins used and
it's a 6 pin connector).

I also just noticed that my "fog" lights no longer come on when the
dash toggle is thrown. I know when I picked it up that they
worked. I unscrewed and lifted the dash to see if a wire had fallen
off, but both wires are attached. The schematic shows a relay that
pulls in the feed to the lights....can anyone tell me where the
relay is located??

Hoping that someone has been through one or both of these issues
before.....
Thanx in advance
