ALLEVIATING DIESEL PUMP BURP?
West Marine carries a overflow suppresser which is a circular bag filled with (what?) that fits over the nozzle and absorbs splash. I guess a towel would work as well and cost less. I keep my supresser in a zip-lock in the fuel compartment. Also, as with many things, slow is good.
