BB AUCTION CALIFORNIA
The $185,000 unit (I guess) was the 'demo' that had a rear lounge (with fold-out bed?) instead of a bedroom -- and, I understand, no holding tanks. Still, it could be finished, with some expense, by someone with some skill and/or money. As is, (with a small holding tank for on the road) it would be a pretty decent "entertainer" coach for a band or group that stays in hotels when on the road. Even with needing additional work to be fully functional as an RV, this was a decent deal. (I think it had a Cat engine that was a little lower powered (500 hp?) than the planed production model with the 600 hp cummins.)
The $320,000 - 2009 Premier was complete, from the flyer/photos I saw. I was under the impression that the unfinished units were in Ft. Valley, not California. I recall that this one had been built and delivered to a dealer, but was taken back after the bankruptcy. (I could be mistaken, though.) This would be about a 30% of retail price deal -- pretty darn good. The 06 and 03 units appear to have sold for about 50-60% of the current market price -- which is consistent with an auction item. Presumably, they were both "after" axle recall units.
