In the case of my coach: There was no overheating that showed up at anytime. Engine was running completely within limits. Even after the O-ring failure, the only indication of failure was in the oil temperature. Absolutely no change in coolant temperature. All this leads me to believe the failure was due to a product defect that took some time to surface.
