Help... Hydraulic fluid leak ..... Just had her worked on!
now the vent needs to be cleaned if that is where it escaped or the jacks will
begin to retract slowly. It could also be that the vent is plugged and the
retracting fluid pressurized the reservoir and pushed fluid out a non pressure
side hose clamp?????

the level will rise when the volume of oil increases.: if it was serviced with 1
inch from the top (as some one suggested?) and if after working the jacks and
again retracting, the level rises or overfills, there is too much air mixing
with the hydraulic fluid. this happens when 1-two fluids are incompatible or 2-
not proper makeup or 3-if the pump sucks air.
volumn also increases when the pump bearings are shot and heat the fluid up, but
that will not happen when you retract as the pump doesnt run
