PT hydraulic reservoir

I have been building racing automatic transmissions for 20 years.
They are FULL of rubber seals.

Dextron is made for automatic transmissions. It will not harm
rubber. It is made to be used with rubber.

I do not know what seal would be harmed by ATF, that the detergent
motor oil wouldn't...

Don't fret it, just empty the tank, fill it with 10w30 and in 5
years when you change it again, use 10w30.

Have you ever heard of adding a pint of trans fluid to an old Chevy
engine at oil change time? Stops hydraulic lifter noise...

Is there a petroleum engineer in the house?
