Tachometer fix
2800 is normal for your engine. That doesn't mean it's OK to run it there
continuously. 2000/2300 is a safe cruise speed. I started the motor and the gauge appears to be working, but when I rev the engine, quarter throttle max in neutral, the RPM goes over 3000. Is this correct? There is no red line on the guage. What RPM are most owners running? I have a 3208T, 225 HP with the 4.89 gear ratio. Troy, Waconia MN 1983 FC33 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "ttikalsky" wrote: > Time to fix the tachometer.
