South of the snow ..

I'm contemplating taking my 'bird South in December (from Michigan) and parking
it somewhere and then coming back in February ... running around the South for a
bit ... then parking it and leaving it until spring.

Does anyone else out there do this ?

Can someone give me a recommendation on how far south I should take it to be
able to leave it (without being heated) and not run into issues with weather
from December to February ?

Should I look at a storage facility ? Or just take it to a RV park and try to
negotiate a low/no use parking rate ?
