Aqua hot leaking diesel
Bob,
I put the ball valve on top of the aquahot unit. On mine there is a check valve in the fuel line, I put the ball valve next to that. While your in there, you might as well change the fuel line. I used 1/4inch fuel injector hose for that, available at most auto supply stores. Another thing I did to simplify future aquahot service work was to add high quality bullet connectors to the wires which connect the burner to the main unit. Lee Davis told me this trick. Now when I need service I turn off the fuel, remove 2 nuts and unsnap the wires and I can take the burner out and work on it on a bench, instead of working on it in the torture chamber! I sent Roger a email this morning and I believe I'll probably do a rebuild on my unit. where did you install the 1/4 inch ball valve at in the system? Thanks for the info. > Bob&Carol Howald 99LX SPI for the winter |
