Swing-out radiator
Do you have a swing radiator? If you're not sure, look at the bottom
of the bumper for two hinges, most swing-radiator modifications have a pair of simple hinges on the bottom of the radiator, extended lower and upper radiator hoses, and extended transmission cooling lines to/from the radiator. It was a modification to FCs until BB began installing them in '85. The bumper bolts need to be removed, bumper swung down, center grille panel removed, radiator mount bolts removed, then the radiator will swing out. Watch fan/shroud clearance, you might have to rotate the fan to clear the shroud and watch the hoses as you open the radiator. Good luck. - Jeff Miller --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "iwhotoo" wrote: > I've owned my '79 FC35 several years. I used it only once because I > don't want to risk a break down.
