Leaking fitting on gen. fuel filter
The generator quit on me the other day. The fuel filters were due to be changes
so I went ahead and changed them. I noticed the out fitting on the primary filter was wet and leaking (could this be the cause of the shutdown?). I started to remove the line from the fitting and fuel started to flow out(I had a bucket underneath). Do I have to drain the fuel tank to remove that hose? Is there a shut-off from the main tank? Of course I filled it coming home from Q.. There is not room to do anything w/out removing said hose. The fuel did not drain while I was changing the filter. Don't understand that.
