Don't forget to check the screen/filter just before the input for the pump. It's rare, but sometimes that filter will clog.

To be clear. Once it stops raining fill your tanks until the overflow passes water. Make sure most of your large water uses are over with for the night. Leave the water hose connected and your pumps off. (Use water from the garden hose for the night.) The water overflow will stop dribbling after a couple of minutes after you turn the "tank fill" switch to off. If the tank continues to overflow a small amount of water your problem is probably your electrically operated Sporland water fill valve. If the pump problem goes away you have cleared the debris from the seat of the valve.
