Randy, sorry to hear about the A/H problems, you are just starting the process,
hope you have the manuals, if not; you can down load them at the A/H web sight.
It could be a number of problems. If you have the time and tools and know how
just follow the trouble shooting flow chart and you will get to the problem.
These units have all sorts of interlocks, low voltage, high voltage, low
coolant, high temp are just a few. Some oddities' that I have experienced are,
1- if your unit has a reset on the high limit thermostat, as the old ones do, it
could be open and the fuel pump solenoid valve will not let any fuel to the
nozzle. 2- If the dash switch is old it may not be giving the unit a good
initial signal and the controller shuts it down. 3- if the control unit has a
problem it won't let the unit run, in my case, everything is fine and works, but
the controller won't let the igniter spark, so I took the controller and through
it in the freezer for a couple of hours and it fired right up (shrinks up the
circuit board and makes a connection). Good luck
