But the doom and gloom presented by some over the declining world oil
production and the prediction that we will all be huddled around a single
candle per family in the winter does not take into consideration the fact
that the United States is a technological powerhouse. The fact that you are
overlooking is that coal not fuel oil dominates the developing asian

During WW2 everyone predicted that Germany would run out of petroleum
products. German scientists produced synthetic lubricants and then went on
to use potatoes etc to produce forms of alternative energy.

Blair its not the math that you should worry about, but the developing
chinese industry. Relax scientists always rise to the occasion when the
graph of money versus need lines are favorable.
