In a word: Yes. Especially with the 8V92 or Series 60.

Keep the rear view camera on so you know it is back there. Don't know about
your specific model, but many of our members tow Jeep Grand Cherokees,
Suburbans, Hummers, or large trailers. One of our Lone Star Bird members
regularly towed a 24 foot enclosed trailer with race car, spare parts, golf
cart, etc. (~10k lbs) with no problems. Ernie towed a 1-ton(?) work van full of
tools, on a trailer, with his 6V92 PT40, so the weight is not a problem. The
hitch receiver assembly on the Birds is 10,000 lb rated as I recall.

It is not just the PT models that are capable of this. Many of our FC members
are pulling some pretty stout loads. Ralph pulled a 24' enclosed trailer all
over the country with his.
