Water Leak In Bedroom, drat!!
Liz, my leak was from theseries of CPVC (or is it PV?)(anyway, the graystuff)fittings going tothe water heater. If yours is like mine, cut all that mess out starting from the brass fitting at the heater, back to a pointa foot or so on thepipe runningalong side the bed. Glue a 3/4" male fitting on thepipe run. Then join withatwo foot length of 3/4" stainless flex line purchased from a plumbing supply house. It has the 3/4"female fittings on it already. They are proud of it, running $20 or so each, but it can't be kinked and allows you to run itaround the obstructions. I couldn't find it at Homey Despot. Ask for house water heater connection piping. While at it, I did
both the incoming and outgoing lines. Sorry for the cumbersome description. I have pics somewhere, but am on the road at the moment. Rick Davis 1993 WLSA
