updavte on power seat switch assembly....

The power seat switches are mounted in a housing made for Chrysler products in the 1970's and 80's. The complete switch assembly from Chrysler is part#2926202.

This #2926202 runs about $175 on E-bay because the Mopar guys want them.

The real deal is this:

The chrome housing and switches come complete under the part#2926202(a Chrysler part).

The switches that are inside the chrome housing are available at NAPA(part#ECH PA104) and Advance Auto Parts(part#BWD S9012) as well as Amazon and a few others.

If you want new switches, remove the panel from the Bird, remove the switches from the Chrome Chrysler housing/mount and install new switches in the (Chrysler)housing.

New, they start at about $45(Amazon.com) and go to about $75(O'Reilly Auto Parts, THE highest price parts in the business)

seems that the switches are pretty much standard on everything 70's and 80's GM, Ford, BMW, Chrysler, etc. The housing that they mount in is what makes them specific for an application.

The good news is, the switches are abundant, the chrome Chrysler housing is not. So protect the housing while removing the old switches!
