Any Idea's
I went out yesterday and I was going to fill the diesel and my
regular gas tank and ran into a problem? My bird is 33 foot long and it has a Diesel engine and a gas generator and there for I have two tanks. I filled the diesel tank up but when I went to fill the gas tank up I could not get the pump hose into the proper location to fill up the tank. I have a lockable door that opens and the fill pipe is located inside and below that door. I cannot get the nozzel to fit on the pipe tight and part of the fuel that I was pumping just ran over the side of the gas tank pipe opening. I think this is because of the new type of nozzels used today have a rubber seat on them and I can not get this into the location of this fill pipe. Anybody have this same problem? I can always fill by using a 5 gallon fuel can but does anyone know of another way? Jon Jon Lechich 1978 Wanderlodge Back-door (Rebel Bird) Bremerton Washington |
