How cool. You never know who you are going to run into in an RV park! Potato farmer turned legendary drag racer. Sold potatoes to McDonald's before they got to be a behemoth and then got them to sponsor his race team. Is he still involved in any racing today? I know the Pedregon team was still running a Larry Minor Motorsports logo just a few years back. This weekend my daughter was camped at Paradise By The Sea, Oceanside, Calif. Our ‘Bird was parked across the road at another RV park. Went over to visit the daughter and met Larry Minor. His 45 foot Newell was parked across from the daughter. We enjoyed visiting with Larry. He enjoyed the story about how we acquired our ‘Bird from Kory McClenathan. Larry and Kory go way back in time.
