Hi Jo,

Here is a link to a Teleflex customer service line. I know it says Teleflex Marine but it is a place to start. I hope they can email you the directions for your model number of speedometer. I think they should be able to point you to where you can get it at least and the number is toll free! There is probably a PDF manual file they can send.

Good luck!

Hi, folks--

Working with a good auto mechanic, we are trying to replace our speedometer/odometer. We believe the original instrument was a Teleflex (because we determined the rest of the original dashboard instruments are that) that was at some point replaced by a Motorola instrument, which no longer works.

Now we have gone back to a Teleflex, but the device came with no documentation whatsoever for hook-up, calibrating, etc. (I am not mentioning dealer names just yet). We were told by the dealer that it's a "trial-by-error" thing. The mechanic figured out the basic hook-up. However, with regard to setting the 9 calibrating switches on the device, after a couple of hours of going around and around the block with the mechanic stopping and making adjustment after adjustment (e.g., because the device was reading 70 mph when the coach was going 20 mph, for example), we realized the maddening absurdity of the situation because the number of combinations of those 9 switches is endless. Because we are good customers, the mechanic kindly agreed not to charge us for all this needless waste of time.

We are hoping someone out there might might know the exact combination of those 9 switches specifically for an '83 FC 35' RB Blue Bird Wanderlodge.

Thanks so much in advance for any help!
